Hello Zabs, WOW! Double WOW! I love your photographs. Gosh! Penang sure has changed a lot judging from your beautiful pics.
By the way, apa camera you use? And what speed. You put on timer 3 minutes for those night shots?
Alamak! Nasi kandar? You make me drool just reading the words, ha ha.
I never missed eating nasi kandar when in Penang as well pasembur or rojak.
For food, Penang hard to beat!
And Chowrasta still there? Reminds me of my story I posted about Tracy and her lost son. He found her there.
My favourite watering hole was E&O hotel, Shangrila or Merlin those days. And love driving around Penang Island at nights, with a long haired SYT of course, ha ha. Kita berhenti at Balek Pulau for coffee or noodles at 2am!
One of the most romantic times is rounding Penang Island on moonlight nights.
Zabs, terima kaseh sribu for refreshing memories of Penang.
Re cameras, I have my old Nikon SLR (film) with a 35mm-135mm portrait lens and accessory flash and tripod. I used to love taking sceneries, sunsets, dawns, but later discovered taking portraits of women more *wink* exciting. My models are friend's wives and daughters. And I can tell you, women are vain creatures, and some of the poses made me forget to klik on my flash too, arhaaa ha ha. But its fun.
Really enjoyed your exceptionally well taken pics, Zabs. Well done. Lee.

Thank you Lee for the nice words, make me want to take more photos.
Saya orang tua baru belajar, just took the photos by trial and error.
I used the Nikon D40, a DSLR camera with a 18mm - 55mm lens. Intend to buy the 18mm - 200mm lens if good the money. It is a digital camera, which means that I can take as many as I want and choose the best to be uploaded, those not wanted, I just delete from the memory. My camera have 2GB memory pen drive. Can save about 1000 snapshots. It is so easy nowadays, you only have to point and shoot. If it is not good, just retake. But it takes an expert to use the camera that you are having now. In the 80's I used to have the Asahi Pentax (film). Not servicable anymore. Thank you again Lee. Take care.

Women are such vain creatures Uncle Lee? So are men. Ha-ha.

Pak Zabs, whoa your pictures are getting better and better all the time. Have you joined photomalaysia.com? Great forums to learn from? And a flickr.com site yet? It's all free and a great way to showcase and let others critique..

Tak sempat jumpa Chegu Nazir ke? He lives somewhere near Tesco...

Salaam.
